Hunting anomalies in 9 million astronomical spectra
An end-to-end ML pipeline for detecting anomalous objects in the DESI DR1 spectroscopic dataset. The pipeline ingests 9.1 million spectra (DESI DR1 + Gaia DR3 cross-match), trains a custom PyTorch autoencoder to compress each spectrum into a 20-dimensional latent representation via Parametric UMAP, then clusters that space with HDBSCAN to surface statistically rare objects. MC Dropout provides per-object uncertainty scores; FAISS enables nearest-neighbor similarity search at scale. Candidate anomalies are cross-referenced against Simbad, NED, and SDSS before MPC/TNS submission. A peer-reviewed paper is in development alongside the pipeline.
PairList
Shared shopping lists, built right
A Progressive Web App for shared grocery and shopping lists — designed to work the way shared lists actually get used, including offline. Built on an offline-first architecture: Dexie.js maintains a local IndexedDB store, and a custom outbox queue pattern guarantees conflict-free sync back to Supabase even when a device drops connection mid-edit. Supabase Realtime pushes changes across all connected devices instantly; row-level security ensures strict per-household data isolation. Installable as a PWA on iOS and Android with swipe-to-complete gestures and a mobile-native feel.
ClaudeRemote
Remote access to Claude via bot interface
A Telegram bot that extends Claude into any device, anywhere — no browser required. ClaudeRemote wraps the Claude API inside a bot layer with multi-turn session continuity, configurable system prompts, and per-user conversation state. The architecture cleanly separates the bot interface from the Claude orchestration layer, making it easy to swap models or add new commands. Ships with a documented architecture, user guide, and deployment instructions for self-hosting.
HVAC AI Automation
Smart dual-zone HVAC priority control with Home Assistant
An intelligent dual-zone HVAC controller built inside Home Assistant. The system manages two independent climate zones across separate floors of a home, using priority-weighted logic to resolve comfort conflicts automatically — deciding in real time which zone takes precedence based on occupancy, schedules, and temperature deltas. An energy optimization layer minimizes total runtime while keeping both zones within comfort targets. The entire control flow is declarative YAML with Python scripts handling decision logic, keeping the system fully auditable and easy to tune without touching the underlying home assistant core.
ClickUp AI
AI-powered ClickUp task management inside Obsidian
A full-featured Obsidian plugin that eliminates context-switching between ClickUp and your notes workflow. The plugin embeds a dual-tab panel directly inside Obsidian: the Tasks tab renders your ClickUp hierarchy as interactive cards (Space → Folder → List → Task), letting you create, browse, and manage tasks without leaving the editor; the AI tab provides a persistent Claude-powered chat with @-context awareness — the model sees which note you have open, which tasks are loaded, and any files you attach, producing answers grounded in your actual work context. Built through a structured, phase-tracked development process with a live changelog maintained in ClickUp itself. Currently at v2.0.20; next phase adds audio transcription.
